A native of Seattle, Mark Pattison attended Roosevelt High
School before earning a football scholarship to the University of Washington.
Having earned honors while playing wide receiver, Mark was drafted by the Los
Angeles Raiders and later played for the New Orleans Saints. Mark enjoyed a
career in the NFL for five years.
Mark Pattison founded The Pattison Group in 1994 and was originally based in
Manhattan Beach, California, as a full service promotional merchandise firm.
Over the years the company has built up nationwide distribution capabilities
and established a reputation for accountability, creativity and attention to
detail.
In 1997, The Pattison Group relocated from California to Seattle, Washington and
began importing with a contracted sourcing agent based in Hong Kong. The Hong
Kong office helps procure and manufacturer products from China to North America
while assisting The Pattison Group with all logistics.
In 2000 Mark co-founded Front Porch Classics, a company which creates and
manufactures authentic wooden gifts, games & toys (www.frontporchclassics.com).
Front Porch Classics won the 2002 toy of the year
award for its Old Century Baseball game. Front Porch Classics also won the same
prestigious award again in 2003 for Old Century Dread Pirate. Front Porch
Classics sells to national retail chains including Macy’s, Neiman Marcus and
Toys R Us and has several development deals with Disney, 20th Century Fox and
The Game Show Network.In 2007, Front Porch merged with Sababa Group Inc. based in Manhattan New
York
In 2003, Mark stepped down from his day to day role at Front Porch Classics to focus exclusively on building The Pattison Group. In 2004 Mark committed to building the first automated branded merchandise site in the industry-www.ThePattisonGroup.com which gave them a broader reach while offering the best brands with the most convenience. In 2008, version 2 was launched to enhance the customer experience and also began to build company e-stores for firms looking to offer their employees or customers their branded merchandise. The Pattison Group along with their strategic partnership with Polar Graphics now has the capacity to offer ecommerce, merchandise & fulfillment within their 85,000 square foot facility located outside of Seattle.
